Larry Schwartz Speaks About Constitutional Challenge to the CDA
Fair Lawn InfoCenter webmaster,
Larry Schwartz, fought the inclement weather on January 27th to speak to the Fair Lawn Computer Club about ACLU v. Reno, the case challenging the constitutionality of the Communications Decency Act. The talk revealed the difficult issue of drafting a law that will protect our youth from viewing shocking content or receiving inappropriate solicitations without infringing on Free Speech. The Supreme Court hearing of the constitutionality of this act is scheduled for March, 1997. Additional information can be found at the Electronic Privacy Information Center.

Fair Lawn Jewish Community Council (FLJCC) plans Web Site
